Fall 2024 Golden Season Rehearsal #8

Hi Singers,

Hope everyone is doing good, and feeling excited about our concerts! 

 There are only 4 rehearsals left until the dress rehearsal, so please try not to miss.  The practice parts will be your tool if you still need help in learning or hearing your notes. I just finished the recordings for Celebration, so that will help you in learning the notes and timings better.    Sopranos, take note I played both the soprano 1 & 2 parts at the end (Bar 70, 71, 72) separately, just so you could hear your notes.

For all singers, remember,  we are not "singing" from bar 44-52 in Celebration.

I would like to do all the repeats in the song and at Bar 40, please scratch out "1st and 2nd time only" as we will sing it with both barts, both times.  The practice recordings reflect this.   

The Choir Band is going to join us, along with the kids for a couple rehearsals on the following dates, so please make note of a slight time change on the following dates:

Monday November 25th - Be ready to sing for 6:00pm 

Monday December 2nd - Be ready to sing for 6:00pm

Sunday December 8th - Tech Rehearsal 2:30pm 

Monday December 9th Dress Rehearsal - I will have the choirs warming up for 6:00pm and then we can run the show.  (I understand there is usually invited guests who come to this, but if we can start earlier than 7:00pm this evening then the young kids in my kids choir and denny's young violin groups can go home earlier on a school night)
