Fall 2024 Golden Season Rehearsal #5

Hi Singers,

Thanks for another great rehearsal, it's important at this stage to work slowly in small sections, and do those sections over and over!

At rehearsal next week, we will split into sections: Soprano's & Alto's -upstairs with Eileen.  Tenor's and Basses downstairs with Sabrina.

Please be ready to work on :

****Reminders****

- Please hand back Seal Lullaby & We are Stars.

- Please make sure to save time each week for practicing, even if it's only 15-20 mins every second day, concert time creeps up on you, and there is too much music to CRAM ;)

-  If you have not paid your registration fees, please do so by sending an e-transfer of $50 to penderchoir@gmail.com

- Bring a Twoonie each week for our 50/50 draw, in which half of the proceeds go to our "Choir Party" in November.

- Look for some past pictures of the choir to send to Judy for our slideshow.  Her email is judyboxler@gmail.com (Remember to include the year and indicate whether it was from a Fall or Spring session.)

****Small ensemble opportunity****

If you and a small group of 3,4 or 10 people, want to do an a cappella Christmas Carol, sort of a "carolling" style during intermission when audience members are getting treats and coffees, please let Bruce & Dana know.  You would be in charge of practicing this on your own, and choosing one or two Christmas Carols to sing.
